Haus Shop
When @hausshop_ approached me with the idea to design some unique hair accessories with clean lines and a fresh modern feel I was stoked to begin. These contemporary pieces in unexpected colors will, with gentle care, take you through a lifetime of hair trends! We’ve already had so much fun trying them out in different hair types- each individual’s hair texture and color cause them to take on a different vibe: neon Periwinkle squares in smooth dark hair give you an ultramodern feel, and the sleek white barrettes make the unruly waves of blonde/brunette hair look chic. Can’t wait to catch some photos of them in yours!
Fall 2019 collection featured products in avocado, mauve, icy green, and bone. If you’re in Omaha, be sure to stop by @hausshop_ and check them out for yourself. We are expanding this collection to include bobby pins, half moon studs, and who knows what’s next!

The Heartland

The endless possibilities of the ceramic process have completely captured my imagination; sculpting wet earth into a form, glazing the surface, and putting it through the firing process demands a deep consideration in order to achieve a beautiful result. Working on this collaboration with The Heartland for the Werner Park Venue allowed me to bring to fruition some larger scale pieces that I‘d been scheming to create for the last couple years, but hadn’t had the outlet for until now. I was also excited to have the chance to put to use so many different ceramic form-making techniques from wheel thrown, coil built, slab built and hand pinched to create a range of artful objects that matched Tara’s vision.

The Heartland started as a simple dream: to show off all of the great things that make the heartland so unique. Wax Buffalo

In Winter ‘18 we collaborated with Wax Buffalo to produce pure essential oil infused pure soy candles in EARTHENjoy reusable vessels. The vessels were made available in a limited batch quantity, each color was paired with a magical concoction by Wax Buffalo founder Alicia Reisinger. Our first release sold out in 4 minutes! Looking forward to another adventure with WB soon!
